Hey beauties! I was wondering what are good foundations and primers for the summer. I currently use Rimmel stay matte primer and maybelline fit me foundation but I think for the summer it might kinda melt/slide off :/ I really like the foundation so can a primer help? or substitute both? thanks for any help.

I find I prefer BB creams and CC creams during the summer rather than full face makeup-- unless I'm going out. You won't find full coverage in those formulas really, but CC creams in general provide a bit more.

You could make your own bb cream if you wanted to. last summer I took my some of my foundation mixed it with some primer a bit of concealer and scraped some of my Mac msf in it. to create my bb/cc cream.

The cc cream by IT cosmetics is great for summer. It is full coverage, also has SPF 50 physical sunscreen (no nasty chemicals) I adore it and have not used a traditional foundation since I purchased it.

I heard of great stuff the cc cream by IT cosmetics. I wanna try!! Hehe.

I would say the IT's CC cream is medium to full coverage in my personal opinion (and use). Less than MUFE's Mat Velvet+, but more than MUFE's Face & Body. A little less than MUFE's HD foundation. It's buildable and a little goes a long way. Compared to my Tarte BB primer it provides more coverage, but less staying power. Hope that helps. :)

I live in a place where its always ninety-five degrees hence its always summer! When you're going out on a hot day, I recommend a BB Cream or a tinted moisturizer. From my experience, Asian BB Creams like Skin79's Hot Pink BB Cream are soooooo much better than Western BB Creams, but Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream is a great choice. It's lighter than foundation so your skin can breathe.

If not that then using a setting spray will let your makeup last much longer. Don't forget to always use sunscreen! I hope that helps :)
