Okay with Mothers Day coming up I know I will be getting a bit spoiled (my kids and man are great!) and one of the things on my list of ideas for them was the Guerlain Meteorites. I have a few questions for those of you who have tried this:
1- Is it better to get the pearls or pressed version?
2- ^ why?
3- Is there a color option you like best? I was thinking of the Pearls in Medium 03, but I'm open to suggestions!
4- Is it worth the price for what most claim to be such a subtle payoff?
Give me your thoughts ladies. :)

I love Guerlain. I bought mine last year. I got the old one, Teint Rose 03. They reformulated it. Mine has a pink to golden effect. But in a subtle way. I only used it once cos of the past season when my skin was a lil lighter. Now that the season has change and my skin is and will be tanner than usual, I will use this everyday. For question 1&2, pearls is better for me cos I can get more product. But if I'm traveling a lot I would choose the pressed. 3, I have Rose 03 (old formulation). I think medium 03 looks good on you now that the weather is warm. 4, I think it's worth it. I love the smell of it. It's classic and nice to put on your vanity. There's something in it that makes me feel glamorous. If you're looking for a nice packaging, well I must say it's not really luxurious as compares to other high end. When traveling, it's not practical cos of the packaging. I would get the pressed then.
In comparison to Hourglass ambient powders and Chanel Les Beiges, which they claim the same effect, the smell is divine. It classic and makes me feel like Audrey Hepburn or Grace Kelly! Lol. But I gravitated towards Hourglass than those 2. Cos of my skin last year was a lil lighter and looks good on ambient powder in luminous light. But I like them all 3. It depends on my mood.
Overall, this is a good powder. If you don't like fragrance in a product then it's not for you. I like the smell so it's a keeper for me.

I love the old formula better. The pearls seemed more creamy in texture over the current formula. Pressed is great for travel as Mylene mentioned...just be sure to keep brush for that clean because the oils can transfer onto the pan making it hard to get product for future use.

Personally if I was going to get le Meteorites, I would get the pearls. That's what makes them special, right?
I've always wanted those! Have fun!
