and wanted to get your opinion on it. If some of you ladies actually use paint brushes instead which ones do you recommend?

I have a ton of both. I agree with Jackie!! I think they are both ergonomic for what they are made for. I have used paint brushes for makeup and they just don't pick up the powder as well. Makeup brushes are fluffier. I'm not saying it flat out wouldn't work but I do think it'd be more efficient using the right brush for the right job!!
