Omygod I'm wondering the same thing. Can't choose between the two! 😁

Both of them would honestly work great, but since you have some oil, and some dry areas, I would go with the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer. It creates a very smooth base to apply foundation and it contains SPF so you'll have some sun protection. It has a nice satin finish too. Lastly, the formula actually absorbs any oils and hides pores. I can't wait to try it myself!

Okay this might be weird to explain but I had to return the KVD one because it was rather difficult to apply evenly and it felt strange on the skin. It also didn't do much for my foundation. I think it works best with the KVD foundation.
The hourglass one, however, does more instantly and through the day. Especially if you have pores and oily skin.
Personally, I'd go with the hourglass. I returned the KVD.
