Okay...typical house party=drunk humans. If you're wearing heels, there's a really high chance you'll slip in spilled drinks, or someone will try to use you for balance and you'll fall. I'd go with cute, flat shoes that won't be ruined if drinks spill on them. Personally I wear cute jeans, boots and tight t shirts to those sort of events.

I don't have any pics but I feel like skirts are sometimes too girly for house parties, I'd say go with a body con dress, body con skirt and cute flowy top, or leggings/high waisted pants :)

A dress to impress kind of thing? Well, you have to consider that this party will have a lot of drinking, drunkard guys for sure. Lol. So I would suggest not to wear heels and bodycon or skirts just in case if you get drunk, fall off the stairs and etc. Skinny jeans or leggings (cutout/mesh/ printed) and a cute top would be best. If you really want to wear heels go ahead, but be sure to bring flats. I love flats from Tieks. It's foldable and can fit in your purse. You can find the cheaper version of it in stores. So just be cautious. Just my opinion. 😉
