I love smokey eye looks! This looks wonderful :) the only advice I have is to blend out the eyeliner on the lash line a bit more as it's a bit harsh

Hello Nikelle, this is a very good start, I have just a few suggestions...
When creating a smokey eye,you ent the transition from the dark colors at the bottom of your lid, to the top colors to be seamless. To do this you must smudge out your liner until there is no harsh lines. Then you apply your shadows and blend.
You also just remember that a skokey eye has an organic shape, what you have done is a little to "cat-esque" (lol, I invented a word). Make the shape a little more natural and rounded.
My last suggestion is to just make sure you don't give your smokey eye a gradient effect. It can't be light at the inner corner and get darker as it goes toward the outer one. Think skooe to fire, from the bottom up, as the lovely Alma says... Hope this helped doll:)))
*Everything I have learned about this look has come from the moderators/professional muas; Alma and Jackie:)

Thanks Makenzie! I didn't see your comment when I posted before...they must have posted at the same time.
I read that same thread from Alma and Jackie. I swear they're the best
for some reason I don't know how to make the shape rounded. When I try I end up looking like a racoon lol but this just gives me a reason to try again!
Thanks Gen!

Hey, don't worry, it takes practice. I don't exactly know how to explain how to get the more rounded shape, so I would ask Alma or Jackie. I don't want to advise your incorrectly. Hope I helped!:))))

I do agree that it is gorgeous, and maybe I was being to picky, but the "cat-esque" shape I was referring to was simply that I felt the wing/outer corner was elongated to much for a smokey eye. But I realize I could be wrong. Does a smokey not have to be a more rounded shape? Can you have a smokey with a more sharpened edge??

Omg thank you so much Alma and Jackie. I value your input dearly.
I do understand the issue of the liner. I ended up putting that on last instead of first..I almost forgot about it?? I did apply it first on another look I attempted.
I ended up doing this one after being inspired by a wayne goss youtube video.. and due to my eye shape being slightly turned downed on the ends I didn't want to look like a sad puppy lol... so I made my eyeshadow shape more up-turned.
Jacqueline...I would more than LOVE to come to you to do a makeup look. I'm so honored that you even mentioned that?? lol
I know I could learn so much from you
