I don't have bad acne. I get a few pimples here and there! It was bad about two years ago so I only have a few scars left!

I have the clarisonic mia 2 and I am very acne prone and it has made my skin better then ever! still I have very few acne scarring but it really did make a big difference!
I use the delicate brush head.

I am acne prone and I love my clarisonic! Definitely use the sensitive brush though.

The Luna and the Clarisonic do the same thing; both send sonic pulses to the skin, loosening blackheads. The only reason I can think of that the Foreo would be more gentle is that the Clarisonic has bristles. Other than that, so far as I know, they're basically the same. If you have active acne, though, the pulses can create more whiteheads, as they're designed for blackhead prone skin as opposed to acne prone skin.

I love my Clarisonic and I have super sensitive skin and it has been great for my skin! I would try the Acne Brush or the Delicate Brush for the Mia 2.

I too have acne and I have had no irritation with it. It always made my skin feel a lot better afterward. When I had a cystic, awful, painful pimple I would just hold the brush head gently to it and it would really help relieve some of that super painful pressure. I just got my warranty replacement od my Mia 2 and I don't know how I survived a month without using it. Used it last night for the first time since mine broke and it was like I had completely different skin. It was smooth and clear and just so great haha. But if you do get it start off with the sensitive brush head, which I think all models come with. Hold it flush against your skin but don't grind it into it. You don't need to scrub. It does all the work for you. All you have to do is press lightly and move it around. If even the sensitive brush feels too harsh they have a delicate one and a luxe one that is super soft as well as a brush for acne prone skin that is quite soft too. I use the sensitive skin one and it has always been gentle enough. Tried the acne and it was actually a little too soft. I didn't feel it was doing as good of a job as the one I was used to so I went back. I find a lot of problems people have with it is user error, using it too often, pressing too hard, or not using a soft enough brush. Some people can use it twice a day and some can't use it at all, everyone's skin is different and can handle different things. I'd buy from Sephora or Ulta because they have good return policies though. Almost all of the models do pretty much the same thing but I recommend the Mia 2. It has two speeds and a timer that lets you know to move to different areas of the face. And it has a 2 year warranty which I recently became very grateful for when mine unexpectedly broke lol. I feel like I'm rambling now so I'll stop lol. I hope this was helpful somehow at least though.
