I've heard mostly great things! Can't believe how useful this app is. (: Anyways, pretty set on getting some but I love all your opinions! How has Main & Tail Shampoo worked for you?

Haha :) Renay, actually as far as I've heard that what it was originally made for but they sell it as a product for humans now too.

It is made for horses! For the "Mane" and the "Tail" of a horse (hence the name hehe)
but people do use it also. I highly recommend leaving it for the horses! That stuff is horrible for human hair

They do have a line only for humans! But this shampoo and conditioner saved my hair. It's good for extremely thick corse hair.

Its really bad. Yes it is made for humans NOW, but it was originally made for horses and still has practically the same stuff in it. It does exactly what Jacqlyn said. A lot of people has great results at first but in the long run it really damages your hair.

My hair was really damaged and unmanageable prior to trying it, I could barely run a brush though it but it's
Much healthier and softer now! I only used a bottle and didn't continue my use with it after it ran out. I also agree it's not a long term use product.

Ahh, "Mane N' FAIL"... I would leave it at that, but then I would feel bad for not giving you my opinion as to why I feel this way about this certain shampoo...
First off I would like to say that there is a reason, this was originally intended for horses. Mane N' Tail shampoo is laced with all kinds of things that are damaging to human hair. Thus shampoo is said to make hair growth quicken, but nothing can do that, it is all about your genetics. This product does create the illusion of longer hair by adding heavy waxes and things, that essentially weigh your hair down. It builds up, and overall just isn't a good product... It harmed ny hair more than the perm I got when I was little. I have very thick hair, hlbut it used to be soft.. Now it is just coarse and dry... I don't recommend using this product or anything from their line.:))))
