Anytime, if you want to wear it during the day without being to much you can choose neutral brown colors and at night you can use darker colors :)

I think you could pull off a dark smoky eye out at night. However for the daytime try a natural brown smokey eye. It's not as harsh and can easily be vamped up for nighttime.

At 17 I was wearing full eye makeup basically every day! Have fun with it, try out new things, do whatever you want. There aren't any real hard and fast rules, as long as you're confident in your look. If you feel like you might look a little weird, try a little less. For daytime, try a smokey eye with taupes and browns instead of black, if it makes you more comfortable!

u can do diffrent color smokey eyes the more dramtic u want it the darker eyeshadow u should use i wear a bronzey brown smokey eye to school

I'm 18 and I wear smokey eyes all the time night or day even just to go to the mall. Doesn't matter what other people think or say whether to them ur too young or not. It's what you want , like and are comfortable with. Some people have asked me why do I wear make up everyday or so much and its definitely not because I'm insecure or I'm trying to hide anything. It's because make up is a passion for me I love trying on new & different looks everyday but some people just don't and aren't going to understand that. Bottom point is do whatever you like and want with your make up , your ur own person and are free to do and try smokey eyes or dramatic less ordinary looks if u want. You decide how much make up is ok for you now .
