What's the difference between this gray thing and a diffuser besides the little "teeth" a diffuser has?
Can I use this as a diffuser?
I'm really just confused as to what this attachment is for tbh

That thing is called a concentrator, and like the name implies it concentrates heat to a certain aspect of your hair. If you dry your hair using a flat brush and blow dry down, you can blow dry your hair straight. If you use round brushes you can dry your hair wavy, curly, or lots of volume! Concentrators do use a tiny bit more heat so if that's something you're trying to avoid, this tool isn't ideal for you :) I hope this helped!
