My complexion on my face tends to be very red. I always look like I have a minor sunburn! My skin is pretty oily, so my foundation had always worn off within four or five hours, leaving me looking as red as a beet! What is a foundation that will not only cover up the redness in my skin, but also stand up to the oil?

Make sure you are keeping your skin moisturized so it's not over producing oils because its so dry. Smashbox has a primer with green tint to neutralize redness and a setting spray is a nice investment as well. UD has one specifically for oily skin it's called "de-slick". I like to keep some blotting sheets on hand as well just in case

I have the same problem! I use Clinique dramatically different moisturiser even though I have oily skin... I use Smashbox primer (I use the green to cancel out the red), BB cream to even out my skin tone along with primer, and finish with a matte bare minerals powder foundation so it covers up the redness AND prevents my face from looking oily!!! I hope this helps :)

You could try Mac Pro Longwear. They recommended this to me because I also have oily skin but I had to go for studio fix instead because I also get dry skin and pro longwear would have made it look worse. So I can't vouch for it but I've had pretty good results with studio fix so I imagine pro longwear would give even better results against oiliness! This is the description from the Mac site: A long-wear foundation that gives up to 15 hours of wear in any environmental condition. Lightweight and creamy, applies smoothly to provide sheer to medium coverage. Even in hot and humid conditions, controls oil to keep skin fresh, natural and flawless. Provides everyday SPF protection. And yeah, you could also use a setting spray like Alyssa mentioned :)

Have you tried a green concealer? That would counteract your red. I have really oily skin and I love Estée Lauder double wear. I also put on murad oil control mattifier as a primer and its great. Then I set w a powder (rimmel stay matte) :)
