Purging? Define please XD.

Hey so I keep seeing people saying "your skin will purge itself" or other things about skin purging. Question: what do they mean? I get the feeling this is one of those questions I'm going to laugh at myself over later but I'll go ahead and ask anyway XD thanks guys!

Purging is to get rid of toxins and grime etc., that is trapped under the skin in the form of impurities or bumps without pus (they become acne when they get infected). when you start using say for example the clarisonic brush, the skin impurities trapped below the surface will get exfoliated and rise to the surface, giving rise to excessive oil production, acne, whiteheads etc. This process of the skin cleansing itself by producing acne, oil, zits, brought to the surface by exfolians or other products is purging.

Oh and, the skin will go through purging usually not immediately after using the clarisonic brush ir oil cleansing method, but gradually. Also, if your skin continues to produce zits post using a product for a long time, I.e more than 2 to 3 weeks post using a new product, then its not fit for your skin, meaning to say, purging takes place within the first three weeks or so, of using a new product or service.
