Adding straps to a prom dress 😥

So, all I wanted for prom was a dress with straps. That, however, is exactly what I didn't get. I bought a lovely dress but is it possible I could get straps altered on to it? I was thinking something like this (sorry it's very poorly photoshopped lol)

Thank you. I am kind of larger chested, and I hate having to constantly pull up strapless dresses and I don't want anything fallin out. Lol

Hmmm. You could always find a tailor and ask them. Some actually don't charge a lot to alter dresses. I know it's possible I'm just more sure how.
