I had the same problem. I had to wash every single day, it sucked! But I had a vacay from work and started washing my hair every second or third day. Eventually it stopped oiling up, now it doesn't need washing until about 4-5 days

I have the same problem. I've been doing every other day for a little over a week now and it still hasn't stopped. @shannon how long did you go before it stopped?

My roomie has the same problem, she stopped washing her hair for 3 and 4 days alternatively, it used to get super oily for about 6 months, and since about three months now, she can safely wash her hair every four days without her forehead getting oily from her scalp. Sometimes she uses a dry shampoo on the second day.

I had the same problem, and when I did this, my hair stopped oiling and I can know go 3-4days without washing. You just have to wait and push through and it does slow down, try not to use heat on your hair in the process because for me this made my hair produce more oil and get grenadier faster because the hair is dry, so keep your hair well hydrated aswell because then your hair doesn't need I produce so much oil

It took a couple of weeks until it started to slow. As Caitlin said, you just have to stick with it. :)

I did this a while ago, just tie your hair back or braid your fringe back. Stick to it though because it does help and also saves you pennies from buying conditioner and shampoo less often ;)
