For summer I use Mary Kay cleanser for oily skin. In winter I use RoC max resurfacing cleanser. For moisturizer I use the basic anti aging moisturizer from oil of Olay.

I have the same problem, I've recently introduced argan oil into my skin care routine and it seems to be helping. I only really get dry on my cheeks, around my mouth, and around my eyebrows, so I'm not sure if we're dealing with the exact same thing. I use Cetaphil face wash (the normal/oily skin one) and I think it does pretty well year-round. You may need to be exfoliating a little more if your dryness is becoming flakiness. I recently tried the Sukiface Exfoliate Foaming Cleanser and I'm obsessed. I'm sure you could replicate the results for much cheaper with a DIY sugar + EVOO scrub. Good luck!

Exfoliating is always a plus for oilies. When you don't exfoliate your pores can't breath and you will produce more oil. Switching your products a lot won't help with either dryness or oiliness. Boots makes a really great microderm scrub for like $16 I think. A little goes a long way and you use it 2 or 3 times a week. It's at target. The RoC cleanser is a cream and doesn't foam so it is less drying and it has gentle exfoliating beads.

That's right young lady!! Lol. Exfoliating is really the best way to give your face an instant pick me up. It clears the edges of your pores so they don't look as large, smooths your skin, makes it more healthy looking, helps reduce and prevent black heads. It helps encourage the production of cologne and helps more oxygen to and circulation come to the surface of your skin. In the long term it will help smooth fine lines and wrinkles and your skin won't need to produce as much oil. Also, your moisturizer and skin care products will absorb better and be more effective.

Like miss Courtney, I too use argan oil! It works really well! I use it after my toner and then put a light layer of moisturizer. I'm extremely dry around my nose and argan oil is a lifesaver. I use it all year round though and I've been using it for about a year. It even helps me with break outs. :) good luck mam!

Yes! In the summer I use it as a moisturizer but in the winter I need both haha. It helps to seal in the moisture and its sooo good for your skin!

Get some real organic argan oil from a health food store like Whole Foods. Argan oil is great for EVERYHING. I use it in my hair, on my face, my body, all over. It's so wonderful. :)

I make my nighttime argan oil mix like mashed potatoes and gravy, lol. I put a dollop of my face cream, whichever one I happen to be using, in the palm of my hand, and then put about 10 drops of argan oil on top. It looks like a little pile of mashed potatoes and gravy :) and then I mix it all up in my hands and slather up my face/neck/décolleté. I use mine all over like Jordan does and I've found it works wonder in my hair. During the day I try to limit myself to only 5-7 drops on my face because my t-zone gets oily, but in the 3ish weeks that I've been using it I've found that my skin is much happier. Marcy, I'm gonna try that Boots scrub you recommended. I haven't tried anything from them yet but I hear such good things. And Mena, if you don't have a health food store near you, I ordered my argan oil from Amazon. It was $7.99 for an ounce and I got it really fast!

My skin is the same way. I use my Clarisonic with my normal cleanser but at night I use the retinol night cream by Neutrogena and either Neutrogena Oil Free moisturizer or Skin Miracle Transformer during the day. The oil free moisturizer has enough moisture without being greasy.

What I find with most of my clients is that we have to treat the issue from the inside out. In the Winter months we tend to drink less water so we are not as hydrated. During the holidays we may indulge more In beverages and think that are not beneficial for our skin. My recommendation would be to make sure you drinking more water and take a vitamin e peel and a hair skin nail vitamin. Just a few thoughts
