This may be an insanely "newbie" question, but I'm going to put on my big girl undies and ask anyways.
I'm having trouble developing a routine for my skin (morning wash, nightly wash, etc.) and, like every other time I have a beauty crisis, I'm turning to the ladies of beautylish.
I've always had good skin up until this year (a bit late considering puberty was a few years ago...). Now I've got blackheads (my nose and chin), random pimples (hairline and chin usually), and like always, these red cheeks.
More on my red cheeks:
I used to think it was rosacea or something, but I'm not so sure. They're not so much bumpy as they are scaly. It could be keratosis pilaris which I have on my arms. I dunno, but that doesn't matter. I'm getting off topic.
I want to develop a skincare routine. I occasionally use the aveeno clear complexion cleanser because it's good for my sensitive skin, but I'd like to start using other things to really up my skincare. I drink lots of water every day, too and eat healthy.
But yeah, any products, tips, or whatever would be useful. & if you say I should use more than one product like each day or whatever (duh), could you put them in order?
SORRY IF THIS IS DUMB OMG <3

Do you have dry, oily combination or normal skin?
The basic skin care routine that my doctor encourages is really easy to follow.
Morning: wash with gentle cleanser
Tone
Any prescribed treatments.
Moisturize
SPF
Night
Cleanse face (twice if wearing makeup)
Tone
Prescribed treatment
Moisturize
I highly suggest starting off with that, minus the treatments unless you want to add in an acne cream or something. Now I use dermalogica which is really expensive for a newbie but it's well worth it, I would recommend getting the ultra calming cleanser to help with redness and just for a daily cleanser. They also have a mist and serum in the same line. Now for blackheads and stuff I would use a mask of some sort, any mud mask will help draw out impurities in your skin. Moisturizer is really important I use barrier repair from dermalogica in the day and dry skin cream from ponds at night. SPF is also very important, I use neutrogenas dry touch sunscreen spf45. I have dry-combination skin so if you don't have the same I can switch my recommendations for dermalogica at least.
