So I got these socks... And they can go over or under the knee. But they are a dark gray color and I don't know what to wear with them. Thanks.

Oooooh really cute! I would wear them with:

Converse and shorts with a white tee or blue tee

With a red, blue, black, green, or grey skirt and a cardigan
