In my opinion it's all about the upkeep. Make sure you clean your brushes regularly. The number 1 reason for brushes falling aprt is moisture affecting the glue so always dry them with bristles facing down

I actually love the sigma brushes the best out of ones I have tried. I would live Mac even more if I could afford it but yeah try sigma. real techniques is pretty good too!

you can use MAC brushes, they will last you years I mean about Ten years or so. That is only if you really know how to take care of your brushes. If you take care of any makeup brushes not only MAC they should last you for a long time. But if MAC brushes are too expensive then try using Sigma or Real Techniques brushes they are more affordable. I mostly use MAC I think its the worth the price in the long run.
