Vanity decoration ideas? -REPOST-

One of my favorite ways to decorate a desk is with a mirrored tray! You can just set it on the middle or edge of the desk and place anything from perfume to makeup cups and it can instantly make a desk look fancy and chic. I found the tray I use at a thrift store for like $10, and most thrift stores should have them. Here's a little inspiration with a mirrored tray I found!

Another fun one is staking your fancy books and putting a figurine/statue/or vase of flowers on top. I stacked my Chanel Collections and Creations book, Bobbi Brown Makeup Manual, and Kevyn Aucoin Making Faces and it looks so flawless! I didn't have any photos of my own but here is another one I found on pinterest.

For makeup brushes I just went to Cost Plus and bought three little decorated glass cups and filled them with old marbles I had! If you want a sleeker look you can buy square, vase, or glass cups and fill them with clear beads that you can buy at Micheals. Here's a photo of the end result.
