I want to try having white hair. It's currently faded green. Anywho, can anyone offer tips or product suggestions to me? Thanks.

Fade it out with head and shoulders shampoo. It strips the color out. If you need to bleach it more, do so but try sticking to 20 or 30 volume developer. Buy some good purple shampoo. Pretty basic c:

I like it too! But the problem is my hair is to the point where it will no longer hold color! It's fading extremely fast, and it never use to do this. So, I figured why not try white?

that's the exact reason why I went white/silver/violet, my hair would no longer hold dye either so I decided to remove all color! I went to a professional to do it, but I prepped my hair by constantly washing it with clarifying shampoo and putting conditioning treatments(every night, overnight) on it before I went to the salon. Since my hair wasn't holding color the purifying shampoo worked really well(I used Ion's Purifying Shampoo), I just had weird looking hair that I had to pull back for a week. A professional did my hair in one sitting by lightening my hair with a 10 or 20 developer in two 30-40 minute applications. Of course we toned it after that, but I was kind of surprised I didn't have someone slather 40 volume all over my head. My hair was in much better condition that all the other times I had white hair (done by other salons). Whether you do it yourself or have someone do it for you, try to make some headway in fading it even more by rinsing it out with purifying shampoos (and let it get some moisture from conditioning treatments before the big bleach day).

An employee at Sally's Beauty told me that Dawn dish soap and baby shampoo are the best for removing due from your hair. Manic Panic has a white temp colour that I've read great reviews about.

There is a colour stripper from sally's that you should use first. Than bleach. And then use a toner!! I had bleach blonde hair and used white lady. I used a hair conditioner in between every step and let it sit on my hair for a while. And use a purple shampoo once a week to keep it looking fresh

@Kacee S. Well, it doesn't hurt to try it out..to see if it will work. If not there a ton of other shades to try out. :)

good luck! and ashlee mentioned "white lady" but now its sold as "palest ash blonde" still under the number T18 from Wella Colorcharm

and also with color strippers, the ones without bleach do not remove unnatural colors(I tried to remove a turquoise color) and the ones that would make a little bit of a difference have bleach products in it, so it just gets really frustrating... I tried both with less than desirable results =/

Okay, I'll keep that in mind.
