Primer for mineral foundations?

I am struggling to keep my mineral foundation on so I bought a primer however I tried to use it and resulted in big orange patches where the powder wouldn't buff In, I know it sounds obvious to let it dry more but does it still work effectively or shall I try a different one? I use moisturiser before too x

Yes let it dry also may I suggest you try a setting spray.

What moistuizer, primer, & foundation are you putting together? Some ingredients don't play well with one another.
