French Braid Help?

Okay I'm having lots of difficulty trying to do French braids. I've tried watching videos on YouTube but I still can't get it. Does anyone have any diagrams or things like that to help?

It's hard to understand at first but just keep watching different videos and practice on yourself. Eventually you'll understand, It took me a while to get it right(:... but basically as you do a braid you grab pieces from the side and add it to your braid.

I had the worst time with French braiding but it's basically braiding but taking a piece from the side and adding it to the middle stand and then repeating the process while braiding the hair.

It you are finding french braiding hard you could try lace braiding. In a french brad you add hair from both sides where as in a lace braid you add hair from only one side so its a good transition between a normal braid and a french one.
