How do you apply your blush?

I always apply blush along my cheekbones and blend towards the temples, never on the apples of the cheeks. How about you?

I do both depending on the look i'm going for. You can also apply it under your cheek bones to contour your face and make it look longer

On my cheekbones lightly and if I want to contour I use a matte bronze from Mac. It's very pretty!

I apply a lighter shade just a tad above the apples of my cheeks and blend out towards my temple then apply a brighter shade (in the same color family as the lighter blush) on the apples of my cheeks. Then I take a stippling brush and just blend it all together. For me it gives me a nice natural flush. I only do this particular look with two shades from Bobbi Brown (apricot & nectar).
