Hi girls! I'm having trouble with eyeshadow colours. I have blue-green eyes and I noticed brown and purple shades make my eyes pop, especially reddish browns. The problem is that eventhough they make my eyes pop they make my eyes look a little red, as if I have been crying. Does anyone know how to fix this? Maybe white eyeliner on my waterline? I don't know... Could use some advice :).

Are they pigmented? I've noticed sometimes when girls wear reddish or pink shades they aren't very pigmented which makes it look like they don't even have eyeshadow on, their eye is just pink or red... is that the problem?

Try using a primer before application, it may be your skin tone underneath that changes to the way colour looks...?

Yeah they actually are pretty pigmented, I don't think that's the problem... But using an eye primer might solve things, haven't thought of that yet. Thanks ;)
