Has anyone ever had kind of bad cheek acne and have it go away eventually? I've had mine for a while kinda and I use Retin-A but I feel like it makes it worse like wayy.

I use proactive and that definitely helped me. I had mild acne, but it was on my cheeks. I am definitely a fan of the clean & clear black head scrub. It comes in a blue/purple bottle. The neutrogena oil free scrub, it's orange works well too.

I get every once in a while. I had it really bad at a point in my life. It could be your age where the hormones in your body are changing. That can cause it. That's what caused it for me. Then after that was done I was fine.
What's your age?
Also I would stay away from proactive. Yes it helps, but only when you are using it. When you stop using it your acne will actually be worse.

Make sure you are wiping down your cell phone with anti bacterial wipes or lightly misting it with Lysol.
A lot of cheek breakouts are caused by bacteria transferred by cell phones (& dirty pillows)👍good luck!

I agree with Jacqlyn on the stuff she is saying :)
Also a cleansing brush is also great for cleaning out pores. (I love them)
15 could be an age where hormones could affect it. Everyone is different though so it may not be. I think the ages it's able to happen mostly is around 13-16.
Other things that help is drinking lots of water. :)

Jacqlyn, true, I still have breakout here and there but they aren't bad as when a person goes through puberty.

Are you using blush?
90% of blushes contain certain red dyes, all of which are highly comedogenic and are usually a cause of acne on the cheeks.

I don't wear any makeup on my cheeks.
