Go with Special Effects!
They have a wide variety of colors. "Joyride" and "Virgin Rose" are quite pinky-purpley, but I personally recommend mixing colors together by yourself. It makes really interesting colors that you have never seen before. I would just use my color wheels and old painting palettes with swatches from art school as a guide to create my own hair dye colors. You can find a color wheel online and do the same thing. But I definitely recommend Special Effects for their variety of colors and ability to last so long!
