Were do you workout gym or at home?
The reason why you workout at home/gym?

I do both but due to a recent health emergency I've been ordered by my doc and trainer to cease my training. :( I hate doing the typical cardio in gym so I would take it outdoors with activities such as cycling or swimming. At the gym it was strictly about the weights.

I want to start working out to loose weight but I just don't like going out to the gym by myself so I decided to start working out at home but I'm afraid that if I buy my equipment I might get lazy and not do it... What motivates you to workout?

I work out at home on the thread mill three times a week. I also changed my diet so it is balanced. I decided to work out because I want to feel healthy and eat less fatty food no meat and no salt diet to keep my skin better.

Blanca, I am the same way, except I am just too self conscious to go to a gym. I have had equipment in the past that I never used, but I bought myself a tiny collapsable exercise bike for my birthday a couple weeks ago and I love it! I am quite heavy and gained a lot of weight because I had a spine injury that left me bed ridden for quite some time. Right now, its finals week, so I haven't been on the bike today, but I actually have been using it a lot more than I expected. Its a great thing for me since I have never worked out in my life(besides competitive swimming and horseback riding) and its easy to use. Whenever I am bored or I want to read or watch tv(not really my thing) I just hop on the bike and cycle while I study or do those activities. I am not allowed to run or do high impact activity since I recently had spine surgery and doing any high impact activities may reverse and worsen my conditions so using the exercise bike is good for me since it was incorporated in my rehabilitation. I have a swimming pool in my apartment complex, so I do laps in there when it is warm out and I used to go to the YMCA and swim laps at 4 am when they would open.
I am currently a meat eater, but most of my diet is vegan by habit. I was vegan or vegetarian for most of my life so I never really quit eating that way. Its delicious, but sometimes time consuming =( I don't eat the greatest some times, but I try to balance it out by sticking with my favorite at the moment:Kale salads with loads of fruits and veggies and roasted squash(love all kinds: Acorn and Spaghetti squash are my current faves)
