So I have really large pores on my cheeks and there not that badly visible until I put makeup on and then bam! There huge and it annoys me because they kind of make that part of my face cakey and I end up doing my make up over and over until it looks half decent, I've tried all the pore minimising products I just don't know what to do.

Exfoliating really helps minimize pores. It unclogs them and gets rid of the residue around them. I would just exfoliate regularly. For example, I exfoliate once or sometimes twice a day (I know it can be bad for some ones skin to exfoliate this regularly but I use really gentle products)
And I have never had a problem with large pores. Good luck!

ALWAYS EXFOLIATE and good routine for your face, as for makeup use a kabuki brush such as sigma flat top or real techniques sold at ultra very cheap :) when you apply to your face do it in a circular motion repeatedly all around your face this will smooth out and lessen the look of pores also use a good prime before such as professional or smash box photo finish and to really cover them powder your face with your color or a translucent powder for long lasting and pore less illusion :) hope it helps.
