I've been trying to get my cuticles looking nice and it seems impossible. I work with my hands a lot and it shows sadly.
I drink tons of water everyday and eat a pretty balanced diet, I've tried all kinds of cuticle removers and the like and still they are thick and torn up.
Any advice on a product that works well or a routine I can do to make them look better?

Thanks ladies. I've tried almond and vitamin e oils but not olive or coconut. Should I wash my hands afterward? Or let it sit on overnight?

@Constance I've tried every cuticle oil and hand cream out there and although there are some products that do the job well, my wallet is not fat enough for me to buy the ones I really like all the time lol. The natural oils that are already here at my house are probably what I will try out next. Oh and thanks @Tamara, I have some argan oil and have never thought to use it on my hands, thanks!

I recently started using diors creme abricot and it has made a huge difference. I have always had a problem with dry cracked cuticles and this stuff seriously helps. It's a bit thick and sticky but I put it on before bed, as suggested.

Hair conditioner works great on cuticles.
While you're in the shower apply a little on them and then gently push them back with a washcloth.
And remember to NEVER cut them, that will just make them hard.
P.S. If you don't have a pusher, use a clean pencils eraser! Good luck!

Ooh thanks @Amber! I've never thought of using conditioner or a pencil eraser! Great tips and advice ladies. Hopefully I will have these hands looking better in no time at all. =)

When I first started my routine I never imagined I'd get happy cuticles. For me, it took months for a nice change! So I recommend you to not lose faith. Use cuticle oils (or olive oil) e creams everyday, everytime! Push then back but not too harsh or your nails will get ridged (ooh my thumbs). I really love SH Instant Cuticle Remover. It removes some nasty skin but not everything (I'm ok with it). And don't cut them! They will grow really quickly!! (and you can hurt yourself too). Hope I helped.
