Hey ladies! Does anyone know of a good face wash or lotion or anything that is gentle for sensitive and acne prone skin to reduce redness?! I have a little bit of redness on my cheeks and some red marks from acne scars that I would LOVE to get rid of!

Check out Simple Skincare products, they are extremely gentle on your face. Also for a toner try witch hazel, I believe it's also a good natural way to fight acne.
The body shop has tea tree cleansers. I haven't tried them myself but people rave about it.

Hey shauna! I am currently in the process of using simple skincare as a moisturizer! I love my cetaphil face wash and I don't think I can part with it at the moment! But I will deff look lore I to their products. I love their moisturizer so far and I have been using their make up remover wipes for a while now and love them! I also feel like the tea tree cleansers might be too rough on my skin, but I'm not sure lol.

I have a toner from thaymers or however you spell it. It's the aloe vera and cucumber one, do you think witch hazel would be better?

The witch hazels that I saw had alcohol in them which I tend to avoid using in toners because it dries out my face

Witch hazel in a distiller version is a natural alcohol that actually comes from the witch hazel plant. I think if you already have rather dry skin try not using it every day, for the redness as swelling that can go with it soak some cotton pads or cloth in a 1 part cold water 1 part witch hazel and lay it on your face like mask on the effected areas, I think you could do this twice a week and avoid drying out your skin?

Yes witch hazel can definitely dry out your skin however, if you dilute it with water it won't be as drying and just remember to moisturize after. Toners usually are a bit drying but I do like Simple Skincare's toner, it contains witch hazel and isn't very drying to the skin. Definitely check out the Body Shop, they have so many things like their tea tree line, aloe vera line, seaweed line and I've never heard anything bad about them. Maybe go in and just the people that work their what they think could help you. Another line I really like but it can get expensive is called Avene. It's a French brand but it works amazinggg. They have a nice acne cleanser that is great on even sensitive skin. They also have a moisturizer that reduces redness which my mom loves to use. (:

I used to love body shop until they started selling their products in china which meant they test their products on animals as china has different laws and processes when it comes to skin care... I have boycott them until they stop this disgusting practice! :)

The french always seem to have a jump on products! And it takes forever before they are available to us and when they are the price is redici-mo! Hope you find what you are looking for :)
