We have a mascarade theme. So my dress is light blue with silver sequins in the middle. My mask will be silver. My shoes and earrings will be silver. I wanna wear a mini top hat and that will be silver sequins with blue peacock feathers. What do you think? Too much silver? What should I change.
(pictures of my dresses, the mask, and what the hat will kinda look like)

I think all of it sounds okay except for the top hat, I just don't think it really fits with the theme and the outfit you just described.

I mean if you wanna wear the hat, opt for a tux. (Yes,I'm weird like that, I'd wear a tux and top hat)

I agree with the hat, I'd maybe go with a nice big bun and a silver bow or ribbon.

The hat is very cute but it will over shine the lovely mask. So I'd say it's a little too much. Plus, you don't want the hat to fall off while dancing!

Hat is to.much for me.

I think the mask and hat would be too overwhelming. A sparkly headband would look cute (:

The hat kinda is too much for my taste.

I'm a junior and for my junior prom, we're having a masquerade theme as well. Everyone I know is wearing a mask but I don't know anyone who is wearing a hat. I'm also wearing a dress in the same color you are, with silver jewelry and shoes as well. But, my mask is blue and silver. Anyways, I don't think it's too much, I just wouldn't wear the hat though. But it is ultimately all up to you. :)

I agree that the hat is too much, but otherwise, I love the outfit.

Mask and dress is good but the hat is too much. Your shoes should be silver.

What if instead of the hat I get a mask with peacock feathers?

Nala H.
That would work. Even a classy feather in your hair could be cute!

Honestly I totally love the hat! I feel like it's something that makes a statement and expresses individual personality! I don't think it's too much silver but if your worried about it maybe you could do blue earring or blue jewelry mixed with silver. But if you really wanted to wear the hat; then please don't let the naysayers stop you from doing something edgy and new!
