I prefer the right, its much more of a classic looking shoe that won't go out of style. You can wear it with a dress, skirts or skinny jeans.

I think it depends on your height. If you're short you don't wanna cover your ankles because you'll appear shorter. However; I'm 5'8 and I'd pick the right one.
