I'm thinking of splurging on this product for my birthday - I've been hearing it's beyond amazing for years now. Has anyone tried it? Thoughts?

Yes. It didnt agree with my winter skin due to one of the ingredients...mineral oil. I broke out in cystic acne. My glow in a bottle is ReVive Moisturizing Renewal Cream. Serious splurge since that line is quite pricey as well. If possible you should get a generous sample of La Mer before taking the plunge just to be on the safe side. The La Mer serums are pretty good as well.

Great, thanks Shelley. I think I will ask for a sample first and I'm going to check out ReVive too!
