So I've been seriously thinking about getting acrylics but I don't know if they damage your nails to much? Or if they are worth it? Or what are some other options? šŸ˜šŸ’• thanks in advance!

The gel shellac is a great option! I love acrylics but once you take them off your nails feel paper thin and mine often have the indent to where the bottom of the nail was and they take forever to grow out. The gel goes on top of your own nails and doesn't cause much damage. It differs from regular polish because it's thick and lasts for weeks

You can get it done and only have it filed once when originally put on the nail! So if your looking long term I would go with acrylic! Cause any damage will mostly grow out!

Actually gel nails are more if not just worse as acrylics. They have damaged multiple people's nails :\ I personally like acrylics because they aren't as strong as gel.

Acrylics are great but don't go to the chinese nail bar's to have them done as they use dental acrylic for the nails! This stuff damages your nails loads and they will turn soft!
