I'm Going To Start Blowdrying At My Beauty School And I've Never Done It Before... Any Tips?

I need some tips from you guys on how to blow dry so it will last for a few days and so it will come out right... thanks..

Are you allowed to use a light hairspray?
Section hair, especially if it's thick, into small sections. Start at the back and underneath, I'm assuming you're using a round brush, starting with a small section position the brush at the base of scalp with blow dryer aimed right at hair on brush and move blow dryer downward as you pull brush downwards through the hair, now here's what can be a bit awkward at first but once you get going helps you keep your rhythm(if it's messing you up majorly drop it but it seems to save time) when you go to reposition your brush in this same section of hair to pull through you use the barrel of your hair dryer to support it, so you switch places with the brush and hair dryer, reposition your brush at the base of scalp and pull hair dryer out from under hair and begin to dry hair again. I hope that description makes some sense. I'm sure you've seen people do it before. You just keep going like that around the head.
The most important thing is making sure the hair is thoroughly dry. If it's not it's not going to hold it's style. That's why you have to section and dry slowly.
