My hair at the moment is a red kinda colour so that's probably why it isn't showing up.. This product makes me want to bleach my hair just to use them haha!

Take a spray bottle and mist the strand of hair do not get it soaking wet or very wet at all that will make it stain your hair after it's wet just put it on their this should make the colors pop more.

I agree, wet the hair. I had bright red hair and used to use that exact same brand, it worked. But it does stain, so I suggest only using it if your sure, and don't use green on it it makes a very gross color lol. It does feel a bit gross at first, so brush it out after you're done :)
And don't wear a white shirt lol

What I did was actually dip the stick in a cup of water, grab like a half inch thick piece of hair, start from the top and work myself downwards, and if it felt dry I would rewet it haha. I found if you use it like scissors with one finger behind the hair, and the chalk on the other side, and having some good pressure on it as you glide it down really helped. If that makes any sense lol

I get you! Haha, pressure is definitely key, I'll try something hard underneath which piece of hair I use, I didn't think of that I was just tugging at my hair as hard as I could so it didn't move lol!

I was thinking about dipping the chalk in water too but I didn't know if it'd screw it up but obvs not so I'll try that too 😊

It lessens the lifespan, but I mean I used it on my sisters long blonde hair every weekend for like a month, used it on mine for a few weeks and they are still not even half way done. then I got bored. Haven't used it in months lol. But they are fantastic for touching up roots or faded spots on colored hair though lol.

I was hoping they'd be good for regrowth touch ups hahah! Mine will probably last forever then! Oh man though, tempted to go blonde just to use them all the time haha!

On blonde hair it stains soo bad though, I used the blue all over my sisters head for a party, and it stained a light blue for 3-4 weeks of washing. Her work was so mad hahah.

I do this on my daughter, I actually use an eyeshadow brush, get it wet with water, run it over the chalk, then apply it to her hair, after I spray with the tiniest bit of dry oil to keep it shiny.

Put a leave in conditioner spray before you can put the chalk twice if needed but once should be good and then use hair spray when done to keep it
