Just get it trimmed I'm a very athletic person to I play sports all year and I keep my hair long every time I get hair cut I get it trimmed.

I play sports all year. Non stop. Finish one sport then tryouts for another then next day! 😂 I'd suggest getting it trimmed, but still long enough to put into a pony tail and do braids with. I wouldn't suggest layers as much, but I'd more suggest getting your hair thinned out if you want it to feel much lighter and bearable with heat. 😘
