@tori talk to your dermatologist about a zinc supplement. Maybe you're not getting enough zinc which can help control ance.

You will be fine if you wear make up that is non-comodegenic. It won't clog pores or cause acne.

There are many factors at play when it comes to acne if you visit acne.com you can find some helpful tips including makeup tips to help but it's not just makeup, it's anything you put on your face or anything that touches your face - including your own hands and your pillow case - also genetics and hormones play a big role as well and for some diet and exercise also play a role - you can't blame acne on just one thing it's multiple things that could be causing it - the dermatologist will give you the best assessment of your skin type n what could be causing you acne.

With acne it's usually genetics and hormones also what you eat how much you exercise how often you drink water all that. But if you don't wash off your makeup before going to bed it will defiantly clog pores and from which acne can form.

Makeup can definitely contribute to acne but usually acne has a deeper root cause like genetics, hormones, etc. The only way I could see it causing acne is if you aren't washing your face and removing your makeup, or if a particular product doesn't agree with your skin. But overall acne is much more complex and usually makeup shouldn't affect it too much. For me, my acne is genetic, my dad had it quite bad when he was younger and into his young adult years, so I could literally go a whole month without makeup, use the best skincare, have a great routine, eat well, etc. and I would still have acne. It didn't matter if I didn't wear makeup, and when I did it didn't really make it worse because I was going to have it anyway. I could do the most basic routine and do all kinds of good things for my skin and it would clear up a bit but it was always there.
