I would never wear this in public, but I'm curious: how does it look on me?

Brings out those eyes 💋

In all honesty, it makes you look very, very young. Not that that's a bad thing, but it's probably not for you just yet, does that make sense? Kaitlin is right though, it does make your eyes look very big and bright, even without anything on them. Of course, if you want to wear it who am I to say no? If you like it, that's all that matters =)

It really looks good on you..!

Nay. In my opinion young kids shouldn't wear dark lipstick it just looks odd.

And yes you do look VERY young.

Thanks, everyone. @Hannah- thanks! That's exactly what I'm trying to avoid (looking younger).
@Faith- I am not a "young kid," I'm thirteen, physically, at least. Thanks for the opinion.

Yeah, I have a lot of recommendations for dark lips if you'd like, but on you black is a bit too much!

Maybe not black but a purple would probably be better!

Enjoy this list of my favorites :)
-Kat Von D Foiled Love lipstick in FTW (it's kinda waxy tasting, so I don't wear it often, but it's a great sparkly berry color!)
-Covergirl Lipstick in #360 Euphoria (it's a lovely texture and lasts pretty long for a drugstore lipstick)
-Nars Semi-matte Lipstick in Scarlet Empress (one of my all time favorites, it's a beautiful burgundy shade that's definitely more on the matte side, but not enough to be drying. It's truly perfect.)
-Tarina Tarantino Lipstick in Fleurticulture (it's more of a dark pinkish red, the picture makes it look very pink, though it's not. Very hydrating, amazing pigmentation and formula)
-Urban Decay's Shame (it's amazing. Seriously. Don't forget a lipliner because it tends to feather a bit, but it's so worth it and gives a high shine finish)
-Revlon Black Cherry (a great drugstore option with a lovely satin finish)
-Revlon Colorstay in Backstage (it's a matte formula, so I found it very drying, but it's so pretty that sometimes I don't care)
-Nars Pure Matte lipstick in Terre de Feu (amazing, not drying at all, especially for a matte formula, and lovely colors)
-Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Damned (it's a bit more drying as a matte formula, but the color is amazing and lasts forever even without lipliner)
-Buxom Big n Healthy Lip Shine in Shanghai (definitely shiny, it's supposed to make your lips feel more plump and hydrated, and it definitely does. It's a lovely formula)
-Hourglass Aura Sheer lipstain in Scarlet (sheer, but a lovely dark color and lasts forever, including through eating and drinking)

Not pictured:
OCC Lip Tar in Black Dahlia (an amazing formula if you like Lip Tars, a little goes a long way and the colors last a long time)
Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Train Bleu (a super dark burgundy I've been eyeing)
Nars Pure Matte Lipstick in Volga (I've also been eyeing that one, a very dark aubergine that swatches beautifully)

I agree with Hannah, the black brings out your eyes at the expense of making you look a lot younger.

Anytime! The lightest of those is going to be the Tarina Tarantino Florticulture, which is on the expensive side, so if you'd like a cheaper dark lipstick try the Covergirl #360 Euphoria, which can be sheered out or built up depending on your preference, so that's a great starting point!

^ totally agree with a Hannah. True reds, burgundy's would probably give that same effect without looking younger, and I know how you feel, I hate when people say I'm to young for things, because I'm also thirteen.

@Miriam- I'm just messing around in the house... And I can't tell you how many times I've told you that I don't think the amount of makeup worn shouldn't be based off of age, but rather maturity- so please stop commenting that on my pictures and threads. I respect your opinion, but I disagree and get the point. Thank you for commenting, though.

I don't want to sound mean but it makes you look kinda scary. you should try a lighter color: ) you're very pretty though.

It does make you look very young and honestly I don't like it that much makes you look evil but do what you want

It dosnt look that bad.

It does make you look young ( as everyone has been saying lol) but in a kinda different way.
I personally don't think it looks the best on you but the suggestions that Hannah said would look gorgeous on you. it does make your eyes pop but it kinda makes you almost look angry in a way ( please don't take that in a mean way I mean it in the nicest way possible:) but I think a dark red or just the ones Hannah suggested would make your eyes pop and would make you look more much more mature than the black does.
