Okay, my skin is horrible. I have acne pretty bad. But when a pimple ones away and heals, it leaves my skin really dry right there and it looks like I'm peeling. I hate it! Do any of you know why it does this or how to fix it when it does do this?

I have that problem too and here are two of my most effective options:

1. After applying your favorite night cream (or lotion) apply a bit of eye cream to the area. Eye creams are thicker and formulated for a more sensitive skin and when a pimple heals it leaves the skin uber sensitive. Then sleep peacefully and come morning the dry patches should be gone.

2. apply your fave moisturizer, making sure to add a little extra to the dry area and seal it. You can either place a bandaid over it or a thin layer of Vaseline. Clinical studies have proven that Vaseline doesn't clog the pores but what it does is create a barrier over the skin. The reason people experience breakout is because of the overuse of the product starts suffocating the skin :) a thin layer of Vaseline over the lotion won't break you out, it'll make sure that the lotion is absorbed into your skin instead of evaporating. A bandaid does the same thing :) I hope this helps!

Also, I recommend gently exfoliating off as much of the peeling skin you can, emphasis on gently. Then, moisturize moisturize moisturize!(: the ladies above gave some great tips for moisturizing effectively.
