I'm 15 and I'm want to learn how to do my nails on my own. But I would like to know the difference between gel or acrylic, & which one is better!

Acrylic can damage your nails after a period of time. It's not as healthy. Once or twice a month is fine. but it makes your nails soft. Gel nails are easier to use and does less harm. They don't chip or damage the natural nail. They can last up to a week:)

I really like my gel nails. they're great as long as you don't pick at them and they stay really well.

When I do my own gel nails with a kit I have, they stay on without chipping for about 2 weeks. Both acrylics and gel nails are very damaging to your nails though. When I got my gels removed one of my nails was super damaged and got cracked down the middle bc of it. I don't really have anything to say about acrylics though bc I've never had them.

Gel for sure! acrylic nails are hell to remove. and when you do remove them... they usually take a layer of your nail as well.
