My skin is sooo dry, I'm even having a hard time wearing foundation without it looking flaky! I'd love any suggestions for moisturizers, masks, remedies, etc.

Thank you Emma! I will definitely try the olive oil. Totally worth the gross feeling, it seems to be a natural remedy (and cheap!)

I have the same problem in the winter be sure to switch up your skin care maybe a creamier cleanser, a heavier face cream rather than lotion. if you use toner try a rosewater & glycerine formula

I had one horrible winter experience where my skin became so dry that it was completely flaking and wearing and makeup just made it look worse. I tried almost every drug store product and nothing helped! Luckily, I did stumble a moisturizer and it literally improved the condition of my skin is a matter of days and I have stuck with it ever since. I use Chanel Hydra Beauty Gel Crème. The actual cream itself was a little too thick for me. I know it's a little pricey, but it is completely worth the money. It also smells really nice as well and it lasts a really long time because a little goes a very long way. You can go in any department store and ask for a sample to test it out and see how you like it. Hope this helps! Good luck with everything!

I have the same problem. My three top suggestions are 1) switch your cleanser to an oil cleanser or at least non-foaming 2) embrace face oil. Argan is my fave 3) Hope in a jar.
I just put up a blog post on winter skin fixes

Use a heavier moisturizer under ur foundation ( lightly ) I use First Aid Beauty in the winter and apply it very lightly and it makes my skin patches completely go away ;)
