No it doesn't because it mimics you body's own natural sebum.but if your going on Accutane that won't be moisturizing enough you should use cerave moisturizing cream ,it doesn't clog pores and its very moisturizing

You can try it in just telling you I have clients that are on Accutane and you get extremely dry peeling and jojoba oil absorbs to quickly into the skin and won't help with the extremely sensitive flaky skin much.

Yes it is hun it will help trick your skin in to producing less oil but some skin types don't like oils at all so you won't really no untill you try it I prefer argan oil I've never had a client that had problems using it.

That could be hun but while your on Accutane your oil glands are going to stop producing oil so your going to need a thick cream that is non comedogenic so cerave may work for you once you start see what your dermatologist recommends and good luck.

You could also try Maracuja oil. I've heard that some people like it better than argan oil. I've tried both and I do prefer maracuja but argan works just as well for me. I buy mine from Tarte because I tried some smaller brands on Amazon and it wasn't worth the money for the container size I got, it was a much better investment to just buy the size Tarte offers at $46 and be set for a while, as well as knowing that its coming from a trusted source. They offer a small roller ball size as well if you want to try it before investing in the full size bottle. If you shop at Sephora or on their site keep your eyes peeled because sometimes they'll offer a sample or a mini size as a beauty insider reward.

I really like it though, it's very hydrating but unless I really slather it on it doesn't usually feel heavy. I would only use it at night though, it does absorb for the most part but it still wouldn't be ideal to apply makeup on top of it unless you used it sparingly.

Jobaba oil broke me out. :-(
I used it to remove makeup for a bit. washed it after n still broke out.
also tried it as a night oil. didn't work for Me. same with grapeseed oil.
but I've been using oils lately.

but I still wana use oil. (for whatever reason).

I have a sample of the tarte oil. it doesn't break Me out.

also botanics from target and I use a loreal age rewind oil..they don't have the same ingredients so sometimes I use two drops of each n one drop of tarte.

If jojoba doesn't work, try hemp seed oil!! Even though it doesn't smell good?, it actually is better for your skin. Jojoba can clog pores sometimes (it has a comodegenic of 1 on the scale but hemp oil has a 0). My acne was so bad I was willing to try accutane, but oil cleansing with a hemp & castor oil mix plus moisturizing with hemp cleared up my skin amazing!! Def give it a try. It's super cheap too! Just remember to keep it in the fridge.  :D.

You can buy hemp oil at your local organic grocer like whole foods. I'm not sure what you mean by what kind of oil it is. Just oil. It's not something you cook with or anything, people take it more as a supplement. To be completely honest it won't get rid of your acne completely (you may have to do a mix with castor oil) but it your acne is that bad accutane might be the option. It helped my clog pores come to the surface but accutane will keep your skin completely clear. Like right now my skin is really really bad because I stopped using the oil. But it would definitely be an option to help moisturize and keep skin better while on accutane.
