You definitely have the concept down doll.So don't worry about that.

A cut crease " is a technique in which the crease is "cut" sharply with a contrasting eye shadow color to give it that really dramatic defined crease. There is usually always dramatic sharp liner to go with it, and the makeup is very angular."

Most of the time you cut your crease with a darker color than the one you applied to your lid. The shadow from your line up, should be smooth and well blended. If you want a full description I would ask one of our lovely moderators.

Here is what I think you can do to make this a true cut crease;

1. I would start by sharpening or defining the line/cut. I would use a shadow pencil, liner, or even just a very pigmented shadow for this. So in tour case, maybe layer your dark green line a time or two.
2. Next you want there to be a gradual ascent upward, if that makes sense. What I mean is, fade your color as it goes up. Bring the green a tad higher, and make it lighter by adding lighter softer shadows. I would stop and fade into you highlight shade, right before your eyesocket becomes visible.
3. Personally I would darken the cut, but that is just me, so don't feel the need to do that.
Finally I would finish it off with a slightly more dramatic liner.

Overall you did a very nice job, and you definitely have the right idea. A little tweaking and you will be good to go. Just remember that practice makes perfect. Have a marvelous day doll!!:)))<3
