You can but it maybe very very very subtle. It depends on your skin and how it handles sun.

I don't know about other countries, but in Australia tanning beds are banned or at least highly restricted because they cause skin cancer. The Uva rays are so damaging to the skin , sunscreen doesn't fully protect it. Just get a spray tan or tan out in the sun where you are probably getting a lower concentration of radiation. You're not allowed use anything in a tanning bed that's not meant for a tanning bed. Instead of using sunscreen, limit your time in there. The people who work in tanning salons aren't supposed to let you go in for a time long enough where you'll burn. It just all depends on your skin, and the intensity of the bulbs.

Don't use it in the tanning bed, like Jennifer said your not suppose to. Just get a tanning lotion with SPF in it.

Yes and no, I work at a tanning salon. Sunscreen will create a protective barrier on your skin am that will prevent the you've rays from hitting your skin. However, depending on how strong your sunscreen is, will depend the coverage jt gives you. Some sunscreens are light coverage so you still have that chance of the UV rays hitting, therefor causing a tan.
