Makeup doesn't look good in pictures?

@jackeline what foundations do you recommend? I guess I'm not having good results with the kat von d foundation.

I'm currently in ap photography again, after already passing the college board exam, and the problem is the you're using flash. The reason why there's a difference between your face and the rest of your skin when using flash is that the camera picks up on the foundation and brightens it. As said before, it gives a 'ghost face' effect because that's what the flash does. So it's not necessarily the foundation. The #1 rule in photography is to never use flash unless its professional. Natural light is everyone's best friend. I know the Kat Von D foundation is absolutely amazing. Although flash isn't great to use, you still can but just find an editing app/processor that will help color balance the photo AND correctly balance highlights and shadows. That tool, the highlight/shadow mixer, will fix this all. There's free ones I know for sure in the app store for apple products. If youre on pc/laptop gimp is amazing as well. It takes 2 seconds to fix this problem!
