I agree with lline, I got mine done too by a proffesional. They now exactly what the perfect shape for you is. Anyways after that I went every month to shape them by a prof. I tried a lot of proffesionals cause I didn't liked them by all, now I have one favorite, I love it how she does my eyebrows. But yea after a long time I can do it all by my self now 💪😊💖

I would go to a professional but if you have to pluck in the mean time make sure you don't pluck on top of your eyebrow and ill show a picture on how an eyebrow should be shaped

With trimming make sure you don't trim the end of the eyebrow my friend did tht and her eyebrow became really short and stubby

-you could get your brows waxed by a professional. its best not to try waxing at home (it can tear your skin/cause an allergic reaction). I really love European Wax Center, and they have tons of locations across the you.s. I've been going there twice a month for years and have never had a negative experience. they do a fantastic job and its pretty painless compared to other waxing
-you could get them threaded by a professional. I've heard this is a lot more painful than waxing
-you can do them yourself by plucking. its a good idea to invest in some high quality tweezers so that you can get your brows clean and remove small hairs
-you can use a flamingo razor to shape them when you are in a rush. they are totally painless, and a little duller than a normal razor. it would be very difficult to cut yourself with these. they are small and can be used without water. they come in packs of three and last about a month each. very cheap and can be useful if you know how to shape your brows correctly. its probably not a great idea to use these the first time you shape your brows


the diagram above is great to shape your brows! my esthetician has told me to shape them exactly like that.

-you may also want a pair of cosmetic scissors to trim the longer hairs. if you keep the hair of your eyebrows a bit shorter, they'll look less messy throughout the day

as far as cosmetics go, buying an eyebrow gel/wax to keep them in place throughout the day is a MUST!! especially for someone with thick eyebrows

plenty of companies sell eyebrow pencils (a dark brown and a lighter brown would be essential to filling in your eyebrows since you have dark hair) anastasia of beverly hills makes fabulous products for eyebrows. if you end up using a powder or gel filler instead of a pencil, you will need an angled eyebrow brush to apply the product

whatever you do, only pluck a little at a time. full eyebrows are gorgeous. shape them and clean them up if youd like, but thinning them out isnt a great idea

also, stay away from products that are black, even though your hair is darker. this will make it look much more natural
