I hope you don't take offense to this because I don't mean to sound rude but from what I can see you seem to have hooded eyes so I would not place that bright shimmery colour all over the lid as it will extenuate that. Instead pop that beautiful gold colour on just the inner corner and blend a matt brown (or any darker colour) into the crease.
