I wear face makeup everyday because I have acne and every day I put it on and go to school and around noon my face makeup gets oily and you can see it on my face (almost looks wet) help??

I recommend purchasing the hourglass mineral veil primer. It helps sooo much with oil. You can also try using a setting powder after your foundation and even a setting spray.

Try to use mattyfing powder or look for a cream which fights with excesive oil throughout the day. I have used garnier moisture match in green bottle for oily to combination skin and it really helped me.

The number one step you can do to control oil is to use a proper skincare routine every morning.
1.Cleanse your face
2.Tone your skin
3. Moisturize (yes even with oily skin just make sure it is light weight and oil free.)
Next use a mattifying and oil control primer.
Apply an oil free liquid or cream foundation and concealer.
Set everything with an oil control powder.
During the day bring along blotting sheets to keep oil from showing up on the skin.
If you give me a price range I could make product reccomendations also :). Hope this helps.

I agree with Maggie. Also a powder foundation instead of liquid helps too.

To combat oily skin you need to have a good skincare routine. Cleanse, tone, and moisturize. I highly recommend Simple Skincare for a cheaper skincare line that is extremelyyyy gentle on skin and their Hydrating Light Moisturizer is very good and not greasy. For a bit higher end I also love Avene Skincare Line. For foundation, you should use a primer because it acts as a barrier from your skin to your makeup. Check out Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer, it's good for sensitive skin and won't irritate your acne. Also use an oil free foundation such as L'Oreal True Match (light but buildable coverage), Tarte (medium/full coverage), MUFE Mat Velvet + (medium/full coverage). Next set your makeup with a powder, I really like Marcelle Pressed Powder or their loose powder.

Maggie is right on... They say that people with oily skin will feel blessed in middle and old age because our skin won't look as wrinkled! For now, I have oily skin with dry patches which is a whole new thing in the last two years, ugh! Thank god for the clarisonic:)

Maggie and Shauna are spot on...and Allison...yes you are so correct about oily skin and being older. I'm 40 years old and I stopped drying out my skin trying to win the battle against the oily slick simply because oily skin ages at such a slower rate. Something I use to cry over in grief when I was younger has actually become a blessing in disguise.
