So I bought Maybelline Colossal Waterproof not even a month ago and its going dry already. :( I've heard of eye drops or contact lens solution being good for reviving dry mascara. Does that work on waterproof mascara too?
I would like to try something before throwing out my very first tube of mascara! :'(

Sorry but I doubt any water based solution would dissolve a waterproof mascara, you would probably need a solvent to dissolve it and I can't think of one that would be safe to use near your eye... I can try looking it up though.

@Nicola, I did try looking it up, and found that contact lens solution works and I already wear contacts so it goes into my eyes anyway haha. Was just unsure if I can use it to dissolve a waterproof formula. :)
@Shelby,you use it in a waterproof mascara?

Well it sound like the lens solution might work well :-) I also read that soaking the sealed container in warm-hot water may help liquify it temporarily. Both are with a try since your mascara already doesn't work lol.

@Nicole, Lol yeah. Better try something than just throw make up away (which breaks my heart)
Thanks for your help! xoxo

Get a cup and put hot water in there then make sure you close the mascara tightly and put it in the cup with hot water for five min.

Don't let the inside of the mascara bottle get wet though

That has happened to me a lot:/ I usually put the mascara (unopened) in the sink and run hot hot hot water over it, it get liquidy, this is a quick fix I use :) kinda like Paulina e said:)
